Let's get started

I acknowledge that each person is unique and therefore adjust my clinical work to meet your specific needs. I will be open and honest about our therapeutic relationship and hope that you will do the same. Whether you are struggling with self-esteem, boundaries, depression, or anything else that life has thrown your way, I am here to help. My practice specializes in treating individuals ages 16+, couples, and families.

ADD/ADHD

ADHD can make it difficult for individuals to concentrate, feel motivated, and sit still. This is a multifaceted diagnosis that requires a lot more attention than most people think.

LGBTQIA+

Stigma-free, affirming, therapy for LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals.  I want to hear your story and validate who you are while pushing you to grow in whatever aspects you may need some help.

Women’s Issues

Women’s issues can take a serious toll on a woman’s emotional, physical, and mental health. Let’s face it: being a woman is HARD.

Identity

Struggling with who you are and who you are meant to be is not just specific to adolescents. Get help learning who you are and how to create your ideal personal identity.

Relational Issues

Relational issues are not specific to couples or parent-child relationships. We are all relational beings and therefore every relationship we have is important.

Life Transitions

As we progress through our lives and experience each new phase of the family lifecycle, we are challenged by the looming hurdle of change over and over again. Luckily, this change doesn't have to be scary!

Therapy Modality

How I Do Therapy

I operate through the lens of contextual family therapy. This means that I focus on the relational aspects of life, aiming to help people establish fair boundaries and find balance while accessing their inner strengths. In helping people to find balance, this therapy modality sees all relationships as a balance of give and take and has a specific focus on the concepts of trust and safety within relationships. Although this modality was originally created for working with families, it can also be applied to individuals and couples as we are all relational beings and therefore deserve to have fairness and balance in those relationships. As a contextual therapist, I acknowledge my power in the room, while aiming to be just as human as my clients. You know more about you than I ever will, and therefore I believe that you are the expert when it comes to you. My job is to help you look at the relational contexts of your life and establish new patterns moving forward. I am open to adapting my work based on your needs, but it is important to note where I initially come from as your therapist.

In addition to contextual therapy, I also utilize attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques.
